If you have been following this blog, you know that I set the course in 2018 and I obviously didn’t follow through. In 2018, I was struggling to figure out what I should be doing with my life. The truth is that I got sucked into social media and jealously admiring those who achieved the level of exposure that I wanted. I took some time to re-evaluate my priorities and cut out the things that make me feel bad. Any interests I pursue should be of good reasons and make me think and feel positively about myself.
When I first started this blog two years ago, it was to write about living a zero waste lifestyle. At times I felt like I wasn’t practicing what I was preaching and there were so many other people out there who were doing it much better than I was. My life has come full circle in the last 2-3 years. I quit my job, moved from LA to NYC, got married, moved from NYC to LA (still married!), and went back to working at my old job. I don’t regret going through the motions in order to find my way to where I am now. I learned a lot about myself in the process: my strengths, my weaknesses, my passions, and my failures.
